Description

The Royal National Hospital For Rheumatic Diseases is still a working hospital after many decades. It was the idea of three of the main people involved in the development of Bath in the 18th century, John Wood, Beau Nash and Dr William Oliver. In the founding days of the hospital there was a treatment fee of three pounds. If the treatment wasn't successful then the fee paid for the funeral.
