Description

The Sheldonian Theatre was built in 1664 by Sir Christopher Wren. The main purpose of the theatre was to provide a venue for University meetings and ceremonies. The theatre is available for hire and can seat 1,000 for conferences and 800 for concerts. There is also a gift shop selling a selection of souvenirs.
