Nelson Monument

The Nelson Monument commemorates Admiral Horatio Nelson. The momument was built in 1807, and is in the shape of nelson's famous telescope. The tower itself is made up of 145 steps, which these are well worth climbing for the view over the entire city.At the very top is a timed ball, that drops every day in unision with the one o'clock gun within the castle.
