Wales National Assembly

The Welsh Assembly, brought into being by the historic referendum of September 1997, is based here in Cardiff. The assembly is the centre of devolved power in Wales/Cymru, dealing with issues such as crime, finance, health and culture. The Assembly hosts a visitor and education centre, with displays and exhibitions about the roles and responsibilities of Welsh parliament.
