The Red Lion Hotel

The Red Lion Hotel is located in the heart of Colchester, and is one of the oldest Inns in the area, built in 1465. The Red Lion Hotel has 24 rooms, all of which are individually furnished with antiques and have original Tudor features, including exposed beams and wattle and daub walls. The restaurant features an a la carte menu and retains the old features of the building with its remarkable high Tudor beamed ceiling.
