The Baum

The Baum is discreetly located far off the main drinking circuit next to a museum dedicated to the Co-op society, both of which are in the Toad Lane conservation area next to a church. It's well worth finding if you're looking for an alternative to the more boisterous circuit in Rochdale's town centre, with chilled music playing, some specialist European beers and a relaxed crowd that's fashionable but casual. The upper floor is quaintly Victorian, but can only be booked for functions.
